SEALING ELEMENT
SPRING ENERGIZED SEALS

How it Works:

SES is an auxiliary pressure sealing device combining a U-shaped PTFE jacket and stainless steel V-shaped spring. Both clamp and accumulator spring have superior corrosion resistance performance.

SES has the self-adaptation ability from zero to high pressure. Under low and even zero pressure, the pre-tightened spring supplies sealing force. If the pressure rises, the main sealing force is formed by the pressure of hydraulic system. SES is definitely a kind of sealing element with high reliability.

SES can be used for external circle sealing (such as piston sealing), internal circle sealing (such as piston rod sealing) and rotational motion (such as the sealing of rotation axis stretched by end surface).

Characteristics:

· Small friction coefficient

· Flexible control with no creep

· Work within a broad range of temperature

· Applicable to high pressure

· Applicable to different kinds of motion modes

· Resistance to broad media

Applicable working conditions:

Pressure: Dynamic sealing <45MPa

Static sealing <60MPa

Temperature: -240℃~+260℃

Media: Nearly all media

Speed: reciprocating motion<1.5m/s

Rotational motion <1m/s
